One of the greatest benefits of your time at UWS will be the close and lifelong connections you'll build with other members of the campus community. Community involvement is one large part of student life here at UWS. It is designed to help students get the most out of their experience at UWS. The primary objective is to create a culture of service that helps students get involved in the local communities, explore interests and hobbies, develop new skills, and find their place within the UWS community. The importance of community involvement is for students to link these experiences to their academic course work and strengthen their skills as working professionals.
Because of the small, close-knit student body at UWS, you'll not only study with your classmates, you'll share experiences and activities that will shape a future. The paths to these adventures can be found in a myriad of ways: serving as a student body officer, volunteering on a committee, joining an intramural sports team, or participating in one of the many clubs available to students.”
